Firstly I'd like to thank Ian for all his efforts running the guild for the last year. As you are probably aware we have had a change of guild leader but I can't see things changing too much.
One thing I do want to change is the raiding, most people would like to do some so to this end we are now trying to increase the number of people in the guild. Rich has kindly stepped up to become our recruitment officer and will be trying to get some enthusiastic new blood into the guild. I would like people to help each other with the gearing aspects as this will benefit all of us in the long run, plus we get more guild points and the more guild points the closer we get to level 25.
I am also changing the guild rank names to more reflect what people wish to do within the guild, the two key ranks are for players wishing to raid and those who just want to enjoy the social aspects of the guild.
I have also created the Stormwind Retirement rank, this is for players who are taking time off but who we hope one day will return. These players will never be kicked from the guild.
I will also try to be a little more diligent in the promotion of new players after the 30 day cooling off period, I hope this will make new players feel more loved ;)
You may also see the salve rank is no more, players who disrupt others or are generaly a PITA will be kicked. A gentle warning will be given first but as the guild growns there is no place for people who can't get along. I would like to think that we would be recruiting mature people but some others slip through.
